This is my experimental site for irregular, random posts on topics of interest to me.

I am a physicist by training, at heart and deep down.

Other areas that I’m interested in:
- Mathematica - my general purpose programming system, for physics and most other topics.
- Computers and interfaces - closer coupling of computers to enable their use as thinking tools.
- Ham radio (call sign AB1LD) - RF signal processing and analysis
- Destiny video game, Microsoft Flight Simulator - fun (I tell myself) and experience in a complex simulated real world environment. And to fly an ornithopter.
- Birding and gardening - to get me outside to touch grass and smell the dandelions.
